The 2018-19 season of the PGA tour may have come and gone, but some moments and achievements will forever linger in our memories. In case you missed them, here are some of the most unforgettable events in the 2018-19 PGA tour season.

Trend-Setting Spectators At Medinah

This caught our attention as a rather inspired way to watch the tournament. Who wouldn’t want to watch a tournament from the comfort of a “tiny” 350-square foot house? Well, four Medinah Country Club members decided to be the first to watch the tournament in grand style; they rented the house located right off the 14th tee. The house had all the bells and whistles of a “home away from home” including a private chef and bartender and plenty of golf coolers. Talk about watching a tournament in grand style.

Pepperrell did it better!

Eddie Pepperrell gave the crowds a thrilling performance on Sunday at the players’ championship which was played at the iconic par-3 17th island green when he played a 50-foot birdie bomb. Johnathan Vegas then stole the thunder when he made the longest putt on 17 since the official records began in 2003 by connecting for birdie from 69 feet, 7 inches.

It’s not over until it’ s over!

Charles Howell III showed us all the virtue of patience when he ended his 11-year, 9-month win drought (333 starts). He won the RSM Classic to break ahis drought this season. The longest gap still belongs to Robert Gomez with a drought of 15 years and six months. So if you feel like giving up, don’t!

No Bogeys Over 72 Holes Of Golf

J.T. Poston got his first win at the Wyndham Championship, becoming the first player to get a win without a bogey over 72 holes since 1974 when Lee Trevino did it at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Redemption For Rory

Rory McIlroy was the personification of a great turnaround this season with his first shot off bounds and a quadruple-bogey at the open championship, despite starting five back in the new starting strokes format, he won the TOUR championship joining Tiger Woods as the only other two-time FedExCup champ. A really inspirational achievement.

Iconic family moment For Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods embraced his children, this year after winning the Masters in Augusta in an almost identical spot just off the 18th green at Augusta National, where he embraced his father Earl after his incredible 1997 masters win 22 years ago. Tiger Woods seems to be making Family history while making golf history. A true legend!

Home is where the game is

Shane Lowry took out the first open championship in Northern Ireland since 1951. Lowry made this win just a year after not making the cut at Carnoustie, this season, however, he destroyed the competition in front of massive crowds.

Defying the stats

Jim Herman won the Barbasol Championship this season. This came as a shock to most fans because Herman has only ever made 3 cuts in 19 starts.

This season of the PGA tour was filled with lots of action, excitement and inspiring moments.

Fans will not forget most of these highlights for a long time indeed.
