- And The Best Golf Cooler For 2020 Is…
- BogeyPro Golf Covert Cooler Shoe Bag
The best golf coolers may not be the name brands that you would generally think of. Although Yeti, Coleman, Igloo may own a huge portion of the cooler market, golf coolers are unique. A great golf cooler not only will keep your beers cold, you won’t draw any attention as your roll into the course.
In the event you want to get right to checking out the coolers we love in 2020, we moved our list to the top, and you can find our top choice here. You will find more information on our reviews below our best cooler for 2020.
The Best Golf Coolers 2020
BogeyPro Golf Covert Cooler Shoe Bag
This cooler is great for concealing 9 cans of beer and it looks just like an average golf shoe bag. Even though you can walk right by the starter with the Shoe Bag, it is designed to fit into an inside pocket of your golf bag. You can load up the cooler at your home, and dump ice right on top of your beers.
The cooler is made very well and has a tough interior liner. Some people use it to keep a few beers and a couple sandwiches on top. There have been some concerns online about the zipper being a little flimsy and the cooler is not air-tight, which could cause issues for walkers with a few beers in their bag.
Several people who have purchased the BogeyPro Golf Cooler suggested buying freezable Rubbermaid thin ice sheets which prevents any leaking. This cooler will keep beers cold for your entire round. It does say in big letters on the side Shoe Bag, but below the graphic is reads….Does not contain Beer. Just Shoes.
Benefits and Features:
- Can easily hold 6 beers with ice and maxes out at 9 beers with a little ice. Perfect for the golf course.
- The Shoe Bag golf cooler looks like a normal shoe bag, so you can easily walk on the course without suspicion.
- Easily fits in the large zippered pocket of most golf bags.
Very inconspicuous cooler. Your adult beverages will be safe of prying eyes.[/bg_collapse]
Callaway Golf Cart Cooler
The name is self-revealing, it is a cart cooler that fits in the baskets of carts, and it also features an adjustable strap so that it can be conveniently hung off pushcarts.
Unlike most of the other coolers on our list, this Callaway cooler was designed for the golf cart in mind, so it gets a bit bulky when you use its full potential of 12 cans. Sneaking it on courses where personal drinks are not allowed can easily become inconvenient as it is hard to conceal.
The cooler’s design allows you to store 12 cans or nine 750ml bottles and keep them cold until the end of the round. The insulated, welded liner prevents leakage even when the temperature outside is boiling. However, some reviewers go against this claim, complaining that, unfortunately, it does leak. In the case of leaking, it is advisable to use re-freezable packs or gels that don’t melt.
The top of the cooler features a very easy to open, velcro top, so you don’t have to waste much time and focus on finding and opening your drinks. After finishing your drinks, the cooler collapses to only 3″, which allows you to store it in any bag or even a pocket.
Clicgear Push Cart Cooler Golf Bag
Are you a Clicgear pushcart owner who is looking for a trendy and convenient cooler golf bag that won’t stick out and look obtrusive? Then this bag ticks all the boxes as it is very practical and fits in perfectly when mounted on the pushcart.
The cooler bag is made from a waterproof nylon and insulated lining that maintain temperature to keep your drinks cold.
It has two compartments. The lower pocket can hold up to six cans while the upper pocket is designed for storing snacks. The inside of the bag is fitted with a mesh pocket so that you can store an ice pack to keep beverages cold. Unfortunately, the snack pocket is not insulated as it is intended for snacks only.
The flaw of this bag is its limited use, as it has been designed to fit only Clickgear 3-wheel pushcarts, and perhaps some similarly designed carts from other brands (this must be checked). You may also find the magnetic closure on the upper pocket annoying in cases when the pocket is overfilled, and the magnet loses its strength to keep it closed. Other than that, it is one of the most stylish golf coolers you’ll find.
Arctic Zone Titan Deep Freeze
The meaning of the phrase ‘deep freeze’ should be taken literally here, as this cooler can maintain ice for 3 days! This is due to its high-performance insulation that prevents UV rays from penetrating inside. The base features a triple layer ColdBlock that provides ultimate heat protection.
The interior is made from a HardBody liner, which makes it look bulky. It is also hard to hide if you intend to take it to courses with anti-personal drinks policy. For other places, though, it is more than practical. Inside you’ll find the SmartShelf, which lets you divide hard drinks or bottles from the soft food and have it all neatly organized. In case you need only beverages on the course, you can completely remove the shelf.
The Rhino-Tech exterior material is water-, stain- and impact-resistant, easy to clean, and comes in three color options. Plus, the front side has a zippered pocket for storing your accessories, accompanied by side, mesh pockets. I don’t think you’ll carry this cooler on your shoulder, but even if you do, the adjustable Backsaver strap is designed with a pad on the strap that is weight-balancing and easy to carry.
Caddyswag Par 6 Golf Cooler
Private bags banned at your golf course? Worry not! The new Caddyswag Par 6 Golf Cooler can ‘sneak’ inside your main golf bag. It’s so small that it can hide within your golf bag, yet it fits a six-pack. The Caddyswag is essentially a portable fridge.
Are you tired of paying hundreds of dollars for overpriced drinks at the course? Are you tired of waiting for someone to bring you a cold one? The Caddyswag is a life-saver. It’s so cheap that it will pay for itself in two rounds of golf. The best part is that there’s no ice required so that you won’t leave a mess in your golf bag. Caddyswag even included a gel pack on the inside.
Bring a friend or take your family camping, and this bag will still serve you (it’s not written in stone that you must use this at the golf course). Caddyswag updated the 6-storage design to make it durable, and this new model has a unique zipper while the main body is made of 300x600D polyester (single ounce PU coating).
ProActive Sports 6 To Go Beverage Cooler
Want to fit 6 cans of beer or 3 large bottles in a small package? The ProActive Sports 6 To Go Beverage Cooler has you covered! This little cooler will keep your drinks ice cold for more than 10+ hours, allowing you enough time to enjoy your day on the green. Any time you want to take a break, and enjoy the view, treat yourself. This cooler will be by your side.
All you have to do is add ice to the cooler, pop in your drinks, and you’re done! Hit the golf course and enjoy yourself – simple. The ProActive Sports 6 has secure shoulder straps and one clip which allows you to 1) Wear it over your shoulder 2) Attach it to your main golf bag/backpack using the clip. The bag is also useful at home when you need cold beverages by your hand and don’t want to walk to the fridge every 30 minutes.
The ProActive Sports is available in 3 color options: Black, blue, and red. ProActive is a very reliable manufacturer, and many people report owning their coolers for well over a decade. This is the newest update to their earlier model: ProActive made it bigger with more space for beverages and an easy “slide-in” process, which keeps the bottles secure inside.
You don’t have to check to ensure the dimensions will match your golf bag because it’s compact and will fit in most larger bags. It will even fit in the long side pocket of some bags.
The ProActive can work without ice, too (you choose if you want your beverages “cold” or “ice cold”). If your course is picky about bringing your own cooler, this should be your go-to escape.
OAGear Golf Bag Cooler
The OAGear Golf cooler is a large cooler for golfers who want the most storage plus accessory pockets and security. If you want a large cooler where you can store as many beverages as possible, the OAGear has you covered.
It features space for 8 large cans or 5 bottles along with double accessory pockets, secure shoulder straps, metal hardware for stabilization, and a double heat-isolated “zero leak” liner.
The OAGear is the ultimate professional golf cooler because it’s collapsible, and it’s relatively large while keeping the interior isolated. No need to worry about water leakages or warm drinks!
Refresh yourself with ice-cold beverages at any point of the day. Moreover, there are two large accessory bags on the sides that are perfect for snack storage. The shoulder straps are adjustable and make travel on the course very easy. It’s possible even to strap it to your existing bag.
For a bag of this size, the OAGear is exceptionally lightweight, despite the metal hardware. The drinks are ice-cold for a full day, and there are ‘no-leak’ protectors inside to keep them from spilling out. You never have to worry about whether your drinks are cold or if they’re going to leak. Plus, you have double the space of a regular cooler.
If you bring a friend, both of you will be covered with refreshments for the day. You’ll find it takes up little space in the back of the golf cart, which will leave some room for other essentials. The pockets leave space for snacks, electronics, wallets, or anything you have to store.
MCNICK & COMPANY – Golf Accessories – The Perfect Fitting Golf Cart Cooler Bag Caddy – Golfing Cooler
The MCNICK & COMPANY Golf Cooler is a high-end golf cooler that can store 24 cans or 15 bottles. This cooler is essential for buddy trips to the golf course.
Want to bring cold beverages for the whole crew? Get the McNick. This high-end bag is designed to fit the exact size of a golf cart basket, making it the ideal fit for standard golf carts. The neutral colors make it less noticeable on the course, and the size allows you to maximize your storage volume in a golf cart.
This McNick & Company bag is a perfect gift for a golfer because of the size and the fact that it’s 100% leak-proof. The new design comes with dual-zippers and reinforcements that ensure none of the drinks ever slip. It’s one of the best golf accessories you can get.
BevPod Ultra Slim Cooler Soft Bag
If you are looking for a cooler that is discreet, can hold 10 beers, and keep your beers cold for an entire round, this is the cooler for you. We should also mention…..your friends are going to love this cooler.
When I first rolled up to the first tee with this cooler, several of my friends asked why I brought my laptop to the course. The cooler is compact and really does look like a laptop case. The only give away is the BevPod logo on the front, but it is black and you can hardly see if unless you are looking closely.
What is great about this cooler is it comes with small sheet of freezable liquid that look like freezee pops. (I bought a couple extra to always make sure I had a frozen set). These sheets lay down perfectly in the BevPod, and you then can lay 10 twelve-ounce beers on the sheet. You then fold over the top portion and bam….you have 10 beers wrapped in ice, ready to take to the golf course.
The BevPod really is a very neat cooler, and your friends will definitely be envious of your new purchase. I have noticed though that on really hot days, the freezable sheets don’t quite make it an entire round. The cooler case is nothing more than a lap top case that conceals the beers and the ice. Don’t expect your beverages to remain cold for up to a week in this device.
OGIO Chill 6-12 Can Cooler Bag
The OGIO Chill 6-12 Can Cooler Bag is a large bag that can comfortably hold 12 cans with a front zipper. The bag is double-sealed with zippers and padded straps that allow you to tighten all the holes for maximum security. The OGIO Chill is a dual side beverage cooler, and it allows you to keep your beverages handy while the collapsible design helps keep it compact once you’re done for the day.
The OGIO Chill is a lightweight cooler that will keep 12 cans ice-cold for over 10 hours easily. The accessory pockets on the side will let you store a sandwich or some snacks, making it convenient for hiking trips and other non-golfing activities too.
The OGIO Chill will never leak! Many times golf coolers leak if you use ice, but this one doesn’t. Even if you play in sweltering weather, the insides will stay cool, and your drinks will stay ice-cold.
6ixPack Golf Insulated Cooler Bag
If you are looking for easy way to sneak a 6-pack on the golf course, this is going to be the easiest cooler of the products we have reviewed. The 6ixPack golf cooler is designed to fit into the side pocket of most golf bags, will hold six of your favorite adult beverages, and comes with a freezer pack allowing you to freeze before use and not worry about adding ice.
The 6ixPack Golf Insulated Cooler is very durable and has a front pocket to keep a bottle opener or beer koozie. It has a detachable shoulder strap and is pretty inexpensive. You will have to keep this one in your bag as you try and sneak it on the course or close to your side as it has in big white letters on the side 6ix Pack Golf.
YETI Hopper Flip Portable Cooler
This cooler is the least inconspicuous of all of the coolers, but lets not forget, it is a Yeti. If you are unfamiliar with Yeti coolers, they have pretty much changed the cooler industry when they launched. These coolers will keep ice for days, are waterproof, and extremely durable. The Hopper Flip 12 has a big wide mouth opening and the interior is mildew resistant. You can put your adult beverages on ice in this cooler, come back a few days later and your beers will still be ice cold. The best cooler we reviewed in terms of keeping things cold.
The problem with the Yeti Hopper Flip portable cooler is that you are going to have a hard time going unnoticed when bringing this to the golf course. Although it will fit in the back of a golf cart, you will need to cover it with a golf towel. If you can bring your golf cart to your car, you will most likely be able to smuggle the cooler on the course, but the big Yeti logo on the side is a dead give way of what is inside.
It is perfect for those that play golf at courses that allow you to bring your own beer and beverages.
FlexiFreeze Freezable Golf Bag Cooler
The concept behind this cooler is great….Put your cooler in the freezer before you go play. Load up your adult beverages and the built in ice packs will keep your drinks cold for your entire round. There are sixty FlexiFreeze Freezable Ice Cubes that will keep your drinks cold for up to 12 hours. It will hold four of your beers and you can snap it right onto your golf bag.
This bag is perfect for those that want to take a few beers on the course, but this bag is definitely noticeable if you snap it to your bag. The one we purchased was Royal Blue, and it stood out against the red and black of our golf bag. It is small enough to fit into the big zipper on our bag, so it can be very inconspicuous and unnoticeable by your local head golf pro.
And The Best Golf Cooler For 2020 Is…
Why a Golf bag cooler is Different Than Your Traditional Coolers
The best Golf coolers are the ones that blend in and can be camouflaged with regular golf gear, while a standard cooler is just that, a standard cooler. Most golf courses will not allow you to bring your own beer or liquor on the golf course. In many states, it is illegal if you bring your own alcohol, and if caught by the proper legal authorities (not sure who this would be), the golf club could lose their liquor license. That being said, this review of golf coolers is for those of us that would like to enjoy a tasty beverage while playing golf, without paying $5.00 a beer and having to tip the hot cart girl.
If you have a moral or ethical problem with sneaking beer onto the course….Congratulations! You are the first person I have ever met other than a general manager of a course that has an issue. Otherwise, check out our reviews.
What Are the Advantages Of A Golf cooler
Depending on the golf Cooler you choose, there are a number of benefits to having a great cooler. Saving money and not having to pay the excessive prices golf courses charge is obviously a huge benefit. Having a cold beer at any moment is also pretty important to those that just double-bogeyed the last two holes and are looking to change their game around with a little “aiming fluid”. If you are like most of my friends at the golf club, you don’t really start playing your best until you have achieved the perfect blood alcohol level and the best way to do this is with some ice-cold “swing lube”.
Worried That The Best Golf Coolers of 2020 Are Going to Get You In Trouble?
If you are worried about getting caught on the golf course or you don’t want to be “that guy” or “that girl”, don’t worry about it. The coolers we reviewed are not only great for sneaking beers on the golf course, but you can also sneak some ice-cold “road sodas” into the church, the mall, back to school night at your kid’s school…whatever event that doesn’t actively promote the drinking of alcoholic beverages.
